The story
Bleaklow Farm began life as a traditional Derbyshire farmhouse, dating back to the early 1800s. Set within 100 acres of Peak District landscape, it was originally a working home shaped by its surroundings, with a strong connection to the land and the rhythms of rural life.
In 2012, the property was acquired by Beyond Venues, marking the start of its transformation. The aim was not to change its character, but to rework it into a place that could be shared. The restoration focused on retaining the building’s original integrity while adapting it for modern use.
Today, Bleaklow Farm operates as an exceptional, exclusive-use venue. With 15 en suite bedrooms and a series of generous social spaces, it has been reconfigured to support gatherings of all kinds, from weddings and celebrations to corporate stays and time away with family and friends. The house now combines its heritage with a layout that works practically for group living.
It is one of a number of exclusive properties owned by Beyond Venues, a small family-based team passionate about guest care and beautiful spaces. The location

The location offers easy access to some of the area’s most iconic landmarks, from the rugged cliff edges over Great Longstone to tranquil valleys and charming villages like Bakewell and Chatsworth.
Surrounded by woodlands, crystal-clear streams, and expansive moorlands, the property provides a sense of seclusion, producing a perfect retreat for those looking to escape into nature.
The venue
Bleaklow Farm has been lovingly renovated and carefully restored to its former glory yet immaculately designed to provide our guests with outstanding comfort.
Our modern features include rainfall showers, underfloor heating, en-suite bathrooms for every bedroom and plenty of space to switch off and relax. We feature locally quarried Mandale limestone, Kartell furniture, British designer Juliet Travers wallpaper and a host of locally supplied.
All of this makes Bleaklow Farm perfect for corporate retreats, intimate weddings and group trips.
