Bleaklow Farm takes centre stage in hit reality TV series
Finally, the cat is out of the bag!
Bleaklow Farm took centre stage in Tuesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Cheshire.
It’s something we’ve had to keep under hats since earlier this year when we got the call from the production company asking if they could take over the house. Of course, we said ‘Yes’.
Bleaklow Farm provided the setting for a filmed girls’ weekend during the latest series of the hit ITV2 reality show, which follows the lavish lives, relationships and drama of Cheshire’s finest.
The episode, which aired on Tuesday 5th May at 21:00, saw cast members including Ampika Pickston, Sheena Lynch, Lauren Simon, Rachel Lugo and Paige Chohan arrive at the property for a luxury two-night countryside retreat.
Fans of the show got a small taster at the end of the previous episode when it showed a couple of the characters having a heart to heart on the signature blue velvet sofas in the sitting room. Despite the teaser, we had to remain tight-lipped!
The housewives made full use of the property, with lessons from an etiquette expert, enjoying an extravagant dinner party in the Great Barn, having heart-to-hearts in the sitting rooms and connecting with nature in the surrounding countryside.
Jake Bond Property Manager at Beyond Venues, said: “We were delighted to welcome the cast and crew to Bleaklow Farm. It was wonderful to see the property showcased on such a well-known programme.
“Bleaklow Farm is something of a well-kept secret. It’s hidden away in the beautiful Peak District, it offers complete privacy, but once discovered it’s never forgotten. The scenery is every bit as stunning as the house itself.
“The production company told us that the housewives were impressed. Who
knows, some of them may be returning to Bleaklow in the future.”
The privacy and luxury of Bleaklow Farm already makes it a popular choice for weddings, celebrations and corporate meetings and retreats. Now, however, its appearance on national television introduces Bleaklow Farm to a wider audience as a distinctive, private destination for group experiences.
